SADARS ran another successful intermediate course - Photos
I am going to be QRV in Italy as I5/M0SFR running my usual 6W into a makeshift wire antenna. This is meant to be like a micro DXpedition mainly for fun but partly for self-training.
The dates are Saturday to Friday, 26 of September to 2 October.
The mode is CW or mixed (you on SSB). I solemnly promise to send as slowly as you want me to. Just ask QRS any time. And remember that your 12WPM is absolutely fine for me, it don't need to be no faster.
My frequencies: 7.030 +/- QRM and 10.108, i.e. the standard QRP calling frequencies of the 40M and 30M bands.
I shall be calling CQ SADARS, first on 30M then on 40M as conditions on the band deteriorate. I will call on 7.090 from time to time in case anyone wishes to try a mixed mode QSO.
I plan to be QRV most days from 22:00z but may be free at 21:00z depending on XYL's plans (she is the boss).
Now to make it more interesting, here is a little contest for you:
Each day that you establish a contact with me counts as one point for one band, or two points for both bands. Whoever gets the most points will also receive a bottle of Italian wine from me with a commemorative QSL card and if nobody ever manages to contact me then the bottle will go to the next raffle. In the unlikely event that there is a tie between two or more contenders, we will toss a coin.
See you on the bands!
